Right now, DJ Jonasty is living a dream.  He is a proud graduate of Jackson State University.  He fell in love with DJ'ing in 2002 and he's been doing it ever since. If you can plan it, He can DJ it. He has DESTROYED nightclubs and various functions all over the country in Jackson, Chicago, St. Louis, Memphis, Birmingham, Biloxi, Baton Rouge, Hattiesburg, Atlanta, Dallas, and Beverly Hills.  His goal when he steps into the DJ booth is to make sure every person that walks in the venue leaves feeling 10 times better than they did when they walked in.  From Rap, Hip Hop, R&B, New Orleans Bounce, Top 40, Crunk, to Dubstep music, if it moves the crowd Jonasty can blend it.  Plus he's known for adding his sense of humor to the party with jokes and crazy antics from the booth.  You never know what might happen at a Jonasty event.

He's an 12 year radio vet and has finally been blessed to get his own radio show!  He recently joined the family at BDAY 99.1, classic Hip Hop and back in the day jams.  His show, THE PRIME TIME REWIND, airs every weeknight 6-10pm.

DJ Jonasty is an official DJ for Jack Daniels Liquor in Mississippi and is also a member of The Core DJ’s Worldwide. He took home the trophy for Radio Disc Jockey of the year in 2010 at the Jackson Music Awards.  He was nominated for Club DJ of the year and Radio DJ Mixer of the year for the 2008 Southern Entertainment Awards, Slept-On DJ of the Year and Radio DJ Mixer of the year for the 2009 SEA's, and Club DJ of the year and Radio DJ of the year again for the 2010 SEA’s.  He was featured in Ozone Magazine’s special DJ issue in 2008 as well as New Power Magazine “DJ’s To Check For” list.

DJ Jonasty also does his thing on the small screen.  He was the guest host of Admission Granted which aired on CW34 in Jackson and the host of Southside Videos which aired on public access.  Now he’s the co-host of The Edge Videos along with Kamikaze and it comes on Saturdays at 4pm and 10:30pm on Comcast channel 14.  The Edge Videos combines the hottest rap videos with the hottest interviews from independent artists and movers and shakers in the community.  We show highlights from every episode on our youtube channel  In 2011 DJ Jonasty stepped outside of his comfort zone and auditioned for the play Every Plays The Fool, a JLee Plays production.  He landed the role of "Chance" in this outstanding stage production.  The play received RAVE reviews.  But don't take our word for it, go to and see it for yourself!

DJ Jonasty is all over the place with no plans of slowing down anytime soon.
